__ Project Scheduling System (PSS) __

 

~ Introduction~

 

 

 

        This is a project made for the department of Information Technology at King Saud University.  Concerning graduation project presentations schedules.

 

 

      The main objective is to allow students and project committees to have an On-line interaction , which enables them to be immediately assigned to a convenient project presentation time .

 

 

All they have to do is:

 

      1. upload their schedule

 

      2. specify their preferences ( the times they prefer    to have the presentations ),  and exclusions ( times   where they can not attend ).

 

As simple as that !

 

 

      The system then will automatically determine a suitable time for the graduation presentation. And assign each committee to its group.

 

 

      The only constraints we have is the time factor, as it has to be ready before the due of the project presentations. And due to the departments’ demand for the system functionalities to be available early so that the coordinator becomes familiar with the software,  We managed an eleven-week duration as a maximum deadline for it to be done.
